Many threads on ballast methods (including even to ballast or not)...not trying to start another on that issue. Specifically, if using water for tire ballast (no freezing in my area), would you add something for corrosion protection? My tire volumes (75% fill) are about 55 gal rear/12 gal...

This is not a spoof question (like don't run down your neighbors cat with your tractor :)). Rather, as a new HST owner (L4600), are there things you have learned NOT to do that overworks/overheats/potential damage type situations to avoid (such as extended time at idle, or working tractor below...

When they delivered my new tractor today, the dealer stated Kubota increased the price on the L4600 by 4% effective March 1, 2012. Said they typically do their increases in March. Was messing with my new toy and didn't ask if it affected all models or just certain ones.

Delivered today...love it.

"60 Months 0.00% 0% New Kubota: T, GR, G, Z, F, BX, B, L, M, RTV, KX, U, R, TLB Models" Bought my new L4600 today...while at dealer, he said that Kubota might go back to 60 months soon...he called while wife and I were driving home and said it was back. Was not a factor in making our decision...
