    Parts problems

Is anyone having problems getting parts for their Kioti? I have a 2012 DK50SE and it seems that Kioti is no longer making the cooling line between the HST filter and the cooler. The only part they offer must be modified to fit. By modified, I mean you actually have to grind off a support and...

    MTD/Huskee Rider...POS

Ok I'm just venting to the choir here...but hopefully somebody someday will do a search and find this rant. A couple years ago my grandpa decided to venture out on his own and buy a Huskee Rider from TSC. I wish he would have asked me, but he didn't. I knew it was cheap but didn't appreciate...

Please move on....This was somehow posted before I finished! Moderator: there is something funny going on with the Android App as I never stopped typing and only hit send after I was finished.

    Found a bolt

Found a short torx bolt in the snow today but I can't seem to find where it belongs. Can't really find torx anywhere on the tractor (DK50SE w/cab) so I thought I'd ask you guys if you know where it might go. I guess it might not go to anything on my tractor but I have to start somewhere! Thanks.

Rear Blade  Looking for a back blade for my DK50SE

Winter is coming and I'm toying with the idea of getting a back blade to clear our 900ft road. Last winter we really didn't get much snow so I never bothered to plow. But, what snow we did get got packed into a sheet of ice you would have thought was groomed with a zamboni. I've been looking...

Sticking Hydro...no it isn't what you think.

Sad to say, but sometimes I don't get to use my tractor (DK50SE w/cab) as much as I'd like. When it sits awhile, the hydro pedal will stick until I work it a bit. Anyone have thoughts on proper lubrication for the 1000 connections that make up the hydro pedal system? Right now, I'm just...

    Where to get Zerk fittings

I could have sworn that I posted this last year, but a search turned up nothing. You can buy zerk fittings from oringsandmore.com Most fittings on the Kioti are "1/8 BSP" Straight ones are $17/10 so much cheaper than the dealer. If you want to get crazy, they also have them in stainless-but...

    Working frozen dirt

Well, my hopes of getting my pond cleaned out before winter are quickly fading away. Even as dry as it has been (up to 2 weeks ago), the bottom of my pond is still pretty wet. And, as people know, wet clay just doesn't play nice with tractors. So, now I'm thinking my next best attempt to...

Everything Attachments Xtreme Duty 78" Box Blade

Just thought I'd give my thoughts after using my new EA 78" Xtreme duty box blade. Ordered it on a Wednesday and received it on Tuesday. I could have gotten it a day earlier, but I wasn't home that day. It arrived in excellent condition and ready to work! At 680# it is probably the heaviest...

It's finally here! My DK50SE Cab...

Well folks, she's real. I wasted no time getting it dirty either. Started poking away at the pond goop....crazy sticky stuff. It definitely needs to dry out more as I did get stuck on the second scoop! Managed to push myself out w/the bucket. Really thought I was going too big, but really...

    My favorite Safety icons

Anyone who has not read the owner's manual to their Kioti tractor really should...and not just because you should. It is hysterical. Some of the translations and cultural differences between S. Korea and the US really stand out in a humorous way (like driving out of a paddy field). Perhaps...

Using Semi-Trash Pumps to spray water...

Looking at getting a semi trash pump from Northern tool. The initial purpose is to drain and refill a 1/2 acre pond but for long-term use, I need it to do other things. How good are these at watering gardens or putting out a brush fire? I see they have "high pressure" pumps but they don't...

Comparison  Kubota L5240 vs Mahindra 5010

Well, after over a year of research and contemplation I think it's time to get serious about a tractor. Right now, I'm looking at the Kubota L5240 and the Mahindra 5010 both w/a cab. Same dealer for either machine so that part is out of the equation for the moment. The dealer told me that the...

    Sure, we make mistakes...

It's easy to make a mistake with your tractor...you lift something you shouldn't or go somewhere you shouldn't. The first thing you may think is...."if only I had a bigger _______(fill in the blank). Well, they don't make them any bigger than these things and yet, you can STILL lift something...

    Backhoe  Another Backhoe question

I think I've read through every backhoe thread there is on here and thought seriously about getting a BH92 to go on a yet-to-be-purchased tractor. But, I just watched an expert crew with a small, but beefy old Yanmar mini-ex dig some trenches for a geo system in my yard and man, were they...
