    NH 499 hydro problem

    Ok I was mowing yesterday and the mower just stopped. Hydro fluid is full I can hear a whine from the pump. I will try replacing the filter on monday But I'm clueless as to why it will not run.I didn't get a book on it and the neighbor who was my ace in the hole,on farm repairs, rudely deceided...

    I have a New Holland 499 that was mowing ok with when it just stopped mowing. The pump is whining so I think it is pumping. is there a relief valve or something like using the wrong oil in the mower? I have been using from Tractor Supply their universal oil.

    Hi I have a question about a New Holland 499 mower. I was mowing today and it just stopped. Hydro Fluid is full, Pto is running cause I can hear a wine from the pump. It seems to have gotten sleepy when starting I hope this is the right place to post I'm new at this
