well, after 24 years, the bearing in the waterpump finally failed... the thermostat is in the waterpump housing, and cant be changed without removing the waterpump... one thing I noticed, is there was no rubber gasket under the thermostat...I got one at the dealer, but not sure im going to use...

i ordered 2 Nanco turf tires for my 1220 on tues july 12th from them...UPS just dropped them off this mornin july 14th... :thumbsup:

after 22 years and 1400 hrs, the front tires on my 1220 are showing the cords... the Firestones were discontinued in 2008... i see Carlisle TurfSaver and TurfMaster and Nanco TracGuard available in this size... all are made in china... anyone have any problems with either of these...

ive read a lot of threads here over the years...figured its time to register... i'm a Journeyman Tool & Diemaker and Millwright... 12 years at USSteel...27 at GM... i'm working in Lordstown, Ohio now, since Pittsburgh has closed... used to do a lot of welding/fabricating...not much time...
