OK. So my L3400's fuel tank probably got some water in it from my fuel drum. I always use a water separating filter funnel and this is why I noticed it but I think the funnel filter has a leak in it and let some water through. The tractor has never done anything except start and run...
[FYI: I searched the forums and found several threads about installing Racor water separators, but none on replacing existing fuel filter housing with a Racor.]
So, I got some water in my tank and had to drain it and tractor still isn't running 100% (will post the issue in a separate thread)...
Just bought a used Kubota L3400, 360 hrs, FEL w/QA bucket, R4's. Nice machine.
Was wanting to fill the tires but when checking the tire pressure, found them to be already filled!
Problem is, I don't know what they are filled with or if they are tubed. I think now-a-days the tractor...
[I'm definitely not an experienced mechanic, but I have changed a head gasket before, but that was a LONG time ago. Remind me of any gatchas?]
My Kubota G5200 HST (3 cyl diesel mower) is overheating. Seems like a common problem. Only seems to overheats under load.
Anyway, I DID see air...

Having a little issue with my Kubota diesel G5200. The starter motor slips most of the time when I try to start it. Getting worse. By that I mean that I hear the starter motor spinning, but the engine isn't turning over. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. When it works, it works...
Was doing some maintenance on my 5200 (which I love) and found that one of the twin PTO engagement belts on the front is cut. These are the two V belts that make the mower go when you push the lever to engage the mower. The dealer said that that were $30 EACH.
Is there anything...
Found a Kubota G5200 diesel riding mower for $1500. 48" deck. Can't see anything wrong with it. Doesn't seem to leak anything. Runs well. Plenty of power. Seems to have been maintained reasonably well. About 750 hours on it. Steering a little loose, but not much.
But my problem is...
