i was changing the trans oil in my 1965 855 wheel horse and the manual says 40 weight engine oil. i put 40 in and ran it then checked it. the oil foamed up real bad. Do i use gear lube or engine oil ?thanks

I have a 1965 855 Wheel Horse and the guy i bought it frmsaid it was rebuilt. i dont believe him because after you run the tractor for a while the breather lets out tons of oil each time. I AM going to rebuilt the engine now. it is a K181 Kohler. if you have any good places to buy parts please...
