I am looking for references, such as blocklayer.com, that are intended for steel framing more than dimensional lumber. i'd like to be able to plan roof trusses or floor joist layouts with calculators that show loads and spans. Does that exist online anywhere?

I am partial to these steel truss designs for the vertical wall and roof frames. I am currently waiting for some feedback on a gambrel roof building frame. Has anybody just used the available online designs to build their own? Seems like angle iron, stick welder, either torch or chopsaw.

I would like to see what kinds of prices to expect for a Montana 3040 with FEL. I like the idea of a 12x12 shuttle but I haven't seen one in person yet. I'd appreciate any responses and I'd like to know if your happy with the 3040 in general.
