Anyone know the properties of the engine head studs ? During torqueing headbolts two of them broke.Replaced and retoque ,all ok. Later during retorque head after 10 hour one of the headstud broke. Used a Snap-On torquemeter so it aint bad tools og to much force causing the studs braking...

So far ,so good ! After this the acetylen/oxsygen gas touch have to be used to remove the cone&roller. Mind the shim under the cup.

Have to do some pressure measurements. 3 point lift works with torq ok for 10 minutes, then it "fedes" away and will not lift. Can`t find what`s wrong. Any suggestions ?

If your Ford got a stuck controll lever, this may solve the problem. Demount the hydaulic cover, lift cylinder and "the rest. When you have the part as shown in the picture on the workbench, do not be cheap on the CRC. A gas torch my be useful. Text on the picture highlights the problem.
