After breaking 11 tines on my 4' tiller, I decided it would be a good idea to use a plow to break new ground. What size plow would be appropriate for a 1500d?
Thanks,

What would be the correct gear to run a 48" tiller with a 1500? I tilled today in low range, 3rd gear, about 2200 rpms. I read in manual that you shouldn't run in low range for long periods of time.
The ground is kinda sandy, not hardpacked clay.

Thanks,
Randy

A question...are these Yanmar tillers gear drive? Is there some kind of slip when the tines hit a rock or a root...
Ok, here's the situation. I can buy a 1500 with a used tiller, new bushhog and new box blade for $4,000 from a dealer here in Alabama.
Or, there is a guy who has a 1500 with a used tiller, bushhog and box blade for $2500. Here is what is known to be wrong with this tractor...
