Give me some advice on something that doesn't make sense (to me). My read flasher on above tractor will not work. The details: I have put in a new bulb, single contact, and have tested the circuit, and it is getting the correct juice (power for city slickers). It will still not light up...

What is the proper way to change transaxle oil and filter (if needed), on the JD X500? On the X500, do you have to remove the deck? Owners manual a little vague on the 500. I have been told that no need to change transaxle oil in the 500 without the hydraulic lift. What say you?

Just wondering what other uses you fellows have found to use your Pro Lift. I've just purchased one, and thought you might have other uses to justify the cost. Seems to me with a 750lb lifting capacity, there are other ways to use the jack. Any thoughts?
