controlling a hydraulic rear blade with a 4720

Hello All- I have a 2014 4720 that has a loader but no other SCV's. Before winter arrives, I am thinking about getting a hydraulic rear blade that would allow me to adjust the blade angle from the cab. Seeing that my tractor is not equipped with a rear SCV, I was wondering what Deere kit I...

An easier way to refuel your tractor

Hello All- A couple weeks ago, I asked what people were using to refuel their tractors. I originally posted my question in the JD Owning / Operating forum, but was soon pointed to other forums where the same question had been asked several times. After combing through numerous threads, it...

How do you fuel your tractor?

So recently I traded in my 4310 for a cabbed 4720. When my 4310, needed to be refueled, I would lay my five gallon fuel jug on the edge of the loader arm and simply wait for the jug to run dry. On my 4720, the fuel cap is on the back fender and refueling requires me to hoist the fuel jug...

The loader lever is tolerable, however the 3 point lever...

Hello All- Looking at either a box blade or a land plane and not sure which one I need. What I do need is a tool that will: 1. Maintain my gravel driveway by filling in the low spots, keeping it level, and removing light weeds. 2. Cut sod off of a grass paddock so I can get to the dirt...

    4720 Top and Tilt....OUCH!

Hello All- After owning my 4310 since 2002, I figured it was time to upgrade so this past Friday, I went to my local dealer and put in a purchase order for a cabbed 4720. While going through the "necessary" options, I asked about adding the top and tilt option. My 4310 did not have this...

    Replacement seat for a 4310

I have had my 4310 for about 10 years now and so far, it has proven to be a great tractor. Recently, I decided to get a canopy for it, and I am also seriously considering upgrading the suspension seat. The reason being is that the stock seat / suspended seat base provides little cushion while...
