    pto speed 540 rpm on John Deere 3720

    I bought a used john deere 3720 - no owners manual. I don't want to sound too stupid but how do you know when the pto is at 540 rpm? I just bought a king kutter 72" inch rototiller and it is suppose to be run at pto of 540 rpm. Thanks for your knowledge

    Tiller  gear drive vs. chain drive tiller

    I am looking at a tiller for my JD 3720 (44 hp) - "everything attachments" has a Korean made 62 inch gear drive tiller for $2138 or a 62 inch chain drive for $1991. Is the gear drive worth the extra $147? Thanks

    John Deere 3720 bucket won't lift much weight

    I bought a 2005 JD 3720 - I have a compost pile of leaves about 12 feet high + wide and with the bucket on I am unable to lift the leaves from the ground - am I expecting too much of it.
