    Shut off solenoid

Hello, I posted this on the RK forum but no one has an answer. Since they are made by TYM I was hoping someone here would know. I have a 1-1/2 yo RK 25 that won't start. The shut off solenoid, when the key is on should retract. I replaced the solenoid thinking it was bad but the new one is...

RK25 fuel shut off solenoid won't allow engine start

Hello, I have a 1-1/2 yo RK 25 that won't start. The shut off solenoid, when the key is on should retract. I replaced the solenoid thinking it was bad but the new one is the same way. If I push the plunger in, it stays in until turned off then it won't retract. I've been removing the solenoid...

Tire hits mower deck right side

I have a JD mower with a 54" mower deck. I bought it used from a guy who should throw their tools away. I can't understand why the mower deck sets at an angle under the frame. Plenty of clearance between left tire but right tire rubs on deck. Further, nothing I do prevents the front deck wheels...

Backhoe  Jinma 354 backhoe hydraulic problem

The backhoe on my 354 developed an odd problem suddenly the other day. As I was taking the last "bite" of digging a very long ditch the boom would raise very slow and actually I have to help it to get it all the way up. Plenty of power in the down motion, just the up. I switched the hydraulic...

    What they use in China

I travel to China on a regular basis and I thought I would post a few pics from my recent trip. It's amazing what they use and are quite happy with it! Literally thousands of two wheel walk-behind tractors many used as the "family car". Use a single cylinder diesel with a total loss coolant...

Leaking Sediment Bowl - Jinma 354

Got home from a 2 week out of town trip and there is a big puddle of diesel fuel under my 354. It's coming from the sediment bowl but the glass seems tight and not cracked. Any ideas? I didn't have time tonight to look carefully tonight and was hoping someone knew the fix. Plus.... I feel kinda...

    Leaky Hydraulic Lines

My Jinma 354 leaks from many of the hydraulic fittings on both the FEL and backhoe. Can this be repaired or do I need to replace the lines and if so, where can I get better ones? Note the arrow in the picture showing where the leaks are coming from. The 2 metal fittings act as a swivel and feel...

    scraper / grader plans?

I had an earthmover come out and basically build up and level an area 2000ft x 50ft for a grass runway. Problem is, it's not really smooth enough to land a plane on despite having a grader used to build a little crown in it. I need to knock off the little high spots and fill in the little low...

    JM-354 Jumps out of gear

My 354 with about 50 hours on it started jumping out of first gear when under a heavy load. I was using a 6' box scraper and every so often it would just jump out of gear without making a sound. Yes, it was fully in first gear, I mean the lever was moved as far as it would go. Anyone have this...

    PTO Speed for roto-tiller JM-354

I finally got the roto-tiller assembled, lubed up and installed on my JM-354. But I don't know what rpm to run the tiller (pto) at. It seems to work better at 720 but not sure if that is right or not. Can someone please tell me what PTO rpm to use? Thanks! By the way, that thing works great!

Jinma GC150Z Mower Belts - Size anyone?

Second time I mowed with my new GC150Z (numbers off manual) mower I got with my 354 the drive belts shredded. The Chinese can make a lot of good stuff.... drive belts are not one of them however. They looked very poor quality when I checked them before using the first time. Of course, I didn't...

    no oil pressure in JM354

Hello, My Jinma 354 with 25 hours on it does not have oil pressure. I always watch the oil pressure on start-up and it never left the peg this time. Pulled the sending unit, started it up and no oil came out. Crankcase is just a little below the full mark. Any ideas? Anybody pull the pan on...

354 turns sharper to the left... comments?

Getting more and more time on my new 354 (20hrs) Blew out the gasket on the power steering pump where the banjo fitting attaches. Spare parts had 4 of the gaskets, replaced and back in business. Mowed with it today and realized how much sharper it turns to the left than the right! Is that...

Controlling speed of hydraulic question JM354

Got 14 hours on my 354 now and is working good. But there are a few issues with the hydraulic system. The FEL works slow in my opinion. Got lots of power and all....just lifting or tilting the bucket take longer than I think it should. Then, the backhoe is just the oposite, all you do is breath...

another reason to change / flush oil

I put 4 hours on my 354 with the factory oil in gearbox. It look very clean and smelled like gear oil. When I drained it...the same except a little more brown. But that is not the reason for this post. When I went to drain the gearboxes on each side of the main gearbox that join the axle...

3-Point Hitch  help - 3-point hitch control lever question

I assembled my 354 but I don't understand how to use the 3-point hitch controls. The manual states there are two levers. One for height and one for "draft" which I assume is the horizontal cylinder under the seat used for leveling. But I only have one control, the one that the position of the...

Hello, My JM354 arrived to day (self import) and so far so good. I know everyone says the Chinese fluids are junk, but mine seems to be the exception. All look good so far. To Shuttle or not to Shuttle....that is the ?

I am ready to buy a Jinma 35hp but have heard stories both from owners and dealers that the "bugs" aren't worked out of them yet. And that the whole system is "not that good". Anyone have any experience with them? Seems like a good idea to me....but I certainly could live without it. (edit)...

    Speeds of Jinma 35hp

Can anyone tell me how many speeds the 35hp 4wd Jinma tractor has? Some dealers say 8 and no creeper available. Others state 12 including the creeper. The factory info states 8 but so far I find it very unreliable. Do the new "EPA" models include a creeper as an option? Is it suitable for...
