Does anyone know what the diameter of the rear PTO shaft is for an X-series? Apparently (2) diameters are available according to JD, however within the selection sheet only 1 540 RPM option is identified. Also, can anyone tell me if the rear PTO is on along with the mid PTO - at all times?

With a nex X585 on it's way I'm a little confused regarding all of the talk regarding lift heights on x series 3pt's. How high will the hitch raise vs. the JD2210 or Kubota BX2230?. Also, is it more beneficial to have a Cat 0 installed?.

My X585 has a cat 1 hitch / pto. I am looking for a 3pt / PTO spreader. I have looked around on the web and have found monster size PTO spreaders only. Does anyone know of a small / compact (say 1.5 - 2.0 bushel) spreader for cat 1 and a PTO drive?

Can anyone tell me if implements from a cat 0 hitch will work with cat 1 - and what is the general difference? I have an X585 and am looking for 3pt PTO spreaders
