I am wondering if the early model Massey Ferguson 165 came with drum brakes. The actuator rod runs to the back side of the wheel. Slightly confusing

I have the multi-power on my 165 and it stays in Low range. I adjusted the linkage on the control. There was another adjustment located under the steering console, but you cannot reach it. Is there anything else I can do before calling the tractor mechanic?

I changed my 1964 model 165 to a alternator charging system and I was wondering where else a tach could be run off of. Someone recommended the timing cover but I have yet to find the location on it. Any suggestions?

I was grading the driveway the other day and noticed a decent amount of oil between the engine and tranny. It was on top of the bellhousing and running down. Could this be coming from the oil pan gasket or what? Also, where is the best place online to purchase the manuals for the 165? I assume...

Just bought a MF 165 and I have a issue. That's what happens when you by a tractor almost 50 years old. Lol:eek:
