Well, I finally got around to tightening that bolt I had to buy the monster wrench for....and it was very loose. Never would have known to do that if it wasn't for you guys here.

A number of you are very knowledgeable and very supportive of us newbies here. BobRip has generously offered to let me bring my tractor to him to watch me (actually tell and show me) how to do my first maintenance. I will take him up on that. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for his help...

There is enough knowledge on this board to create one heck of a set of manuals on how to maintain these tractors. I for one would be willing to pay for a detailed manual on the 425. My guess is if one of you tractor geeks went through postings and added your own knowledge you could create one...

I have tried to grease my 425. The two grease fittings on the front lifter and the top center pivot fittings will not allow me to put any grease in, even when I replaced them. What is wrong?
