My father has an older Ford 3000 that has no brakes...lhe has never looked in to rebuilding them, but I imagine it can't be that hard. What is the best place to start when diagnosing and repairing these brakes? Thanks!

I am curious what you guys are using to secure your tractors to trailers? Chains I would think, but I am new to trailering tractors, so I dont have a clue. What type of chains and binders? Where are the secure points? Any info securing a load is appreciated. Thanks!

New guy with a towing question. I am looking at a 2004 Chevy 2500HD with the 6.0 liter gas engine to tow a Ford 3000. Ballasted weight of the 3000 is roughly 7000#. GVWR of the 2500HD is 9200# and GCWR is 18500# and max trailer weight is 12500#. I am thinking about bumper pulling the 3000...
