I've searched this forum and can't find how to disengage the reverse safety switch on my 2518. I don't plan to mow in reverse but the constant wear and tear on the PTO can't be good.

Hi Got my Cub 2518 out for the first time this season. While mowing the blades stopped. PTO now does not work. Now when the PTO is now engaged the engine begins to stall out, so I disengage and engine will run OK, but nothing happens. Is the clutch shot? I have 197 hours on it.

I have a 2004 Cub Cadet 2518. Reverse pedal became disengaged. It is in down position and freely moves up and down but doesn't do anything. Therefore can't get mower in reverse. Is this something that I can fix? thanks
