Thanks, guys, I found the engine manual, and I see the carb sketch. The idle speed screw is Item N on page 24, the Kohler one-barrel carb. My question is, 1WHERE IS THIS SCREW LOCATED? I cannot find it. I've removed the air cleaner, but I don't see the screw. I dont' think it would be buried...

My Gt2550 runs powerfully, cuts great, but after a half hour or hour, it will not go. Engine runs fine. The transmission will SCREEECCCHHH and then stop. If I push pull push pull the little hydro release lever on the rear, sometimes it will go just fine, sometimes I have to let it cool down...

Could not get switch removed yesterday, a new one was $25, so I tried PB-Blaster. Sprayed it on terminals, inside the switch, under the push-pull knob, all around, inside and out. Seemed to push-pull much more freely, ran just fine and energized the clutch yesterday a dozen times or so. I think...

PTO won't engage, and I want to replace the yellow PTO switch. I can un-plug the back of it, but how in the world do you remove the yellow-handle part? Seems it is held into the dash-board with numerous push-in clips. Thanks guys.

My 2009 GT-2550 gas tank holds 2 gallons, we run out all the time. I notice the newer shaft drive GT's hold 3.3 gallons. Any way to change to a larger tank?? thanks guys.

The carb seems to be flooded, with gas running out the muffler. Engine will not start. I can smell gas in the engine oil. Can I take the carb apart enough to clean it up, free up the float and needle, etc., without doing anything bad? How do I do that? I'm pretty handy around the farm...
