JD 4440 I can’t get the suction filter lose to remove it for cleaning. It takes a half inch break away but it doesn’t go in far enough to get a good bite. I don’t want to wallow it out! Any suggestions to get it out?

I own a farm in Oklahoma I lease out the pasture but have lots to do around the house and out buildings. Keeps me busy!
