My JD 2020 overheats after about 20 minutes running. I've replaced the water pump, radiator and thermostat and the fan belt is tight. Could the problem be the water jacket needing flushed out ? I'd really appreciate any advice. Mike

The oil pressure gauge and temp gauge on my JD 2020 have water drops inside the glass to the point I can't read them. Is there a way to fix them or do I need to replace them ?

I have an owner's manual and a shop manual for my JD 2020 gas and they both say when setting the timing, align the "s" or"28" mark on the front crankshaft pulley with the timing mark. I've looked all around that pulley and can't find that mark. How am I missing it ?

I bought this (about) 1940's Oliver spreader for $25, used it a couple times until it trashed a tire, then it sat in the weeds for 8 years. This spring, I decided to drag it up to the shop and fix it up enough to use in my garden.

I just ordered a gas float/sensor for my JD 2020 gas and whoever had it before removed the wiring to it. I know it only has one electrical; terminal,which I assume goes to the gas guage. Does the other terminal on the guage just connect to the ignition switch? IO just don't want to start a fire...
