    Salt spreader Ideas

Looking for ideas on how to mount my Meyers salt spreader. It's the "Mini" model, 400lb hopper, has a reciever mount. Originanlly I had planned to weld a reciever to my box blade. Then I lookd at it and realized I'll be picking this thing up to slide it on the mount. It only weighs 135lb empty...

    Single acting cylinders ?

I'm pretty sure this has been covered. I searched and searched but couldn't find my answer. I'm putting a Meyers Snowplow on my Kioti. In the past I had a smaller blade mounted up front. On that blade I fabricated most everything. I used 2 D.A. cylinders one for up down the other for angle...

    Tractor will not shut off

Ok so here goes. I started my little CK20HST up yesterday. Drove down the hill to do some weedeating, set the brake went to shut her down but she didn't want to. I'm assuming the ignition switch is faulty. It'll start up with no issues. But I have to pull the fuel shut off to get it to stop. My...

    Odd issue on my CK20HST

Ok went to plow the 7"off the driveway. I usually run in low range until it's safe to put into high range. Well the last 2 times I've plowed I couldn't get he lever to move. Any ideas as to what's wrong? The tractor has a nice dry shed to sleep in so it's not frozen. Any help?

    Another trailer decking question

But not the usual..... I came across some stuff called Rumber, supposed to be stronger than wood. Cost less too. Anybody ever use it? Where'd you get it? Stuff seems like it's the answer to rotting boards.

    Snow plow hydraulics

I'm getting ready to put cylinders on my new to me plow. I've been thinking should I set the up/down so that I can actually dig down an inch or maybe two? I know My CK20 isn't a dozer but I could use it to move light material around. So what do you think?

    Snow plow cylinders?

I bought an old plow that I have now mounted to the front of my CK20HST. I'm thinking remove the FEL and plumb in an up/down cylinder and an angle cylinder. I've been looking around and the one I'm seeing seem to long, closed from pin to pin 20.25". I'd like a shorter pin to pin and still get...

    Snow Attachments  Snow Chains

I have a question I've been reading alot on snow chains here and other places. First my situation... I have a 600' concrete drive. It's all of 2 months old. The first 350 feet is somewhat flat to the last 250 feet being pretty steep hill. I'm a little worried about the hill when there is ice on...

What to do with new Concrete?

Ok I posted a thread about the old blacktop drive being replaced with new concrete about 3 weeks ago. Now that it's completed, I have a new problem. I had them pour a pad (42' x 40') going over to the shed/barn. After a rain storm the other night I've noticed that some of the fill has moved and...

    New Driveway

Just thought I'd tell you all about my new adventure. About 4 years ago I let a man talk me into laying blacktop down for my drive. I had planned to use concrete but this seemed so much easier. Anyway shortly after he had finished my drive had holes forming and it got worse as time went on...

    New Driveway questions

Hello all, I'm getting ready to have the blacktop drive replaced with concrete. Just wanting to know what kind of labor charge I should expect? I've figured the concrete to be around 124 yards. The drive is 12' x 600' with a parking pad being 32 x 35, and the wife decided it might as well go to...

Last one for awhile.... I promise

OK I made up a tooth bar. I had the 1/2x4" flat, bought the teeth and shanks off ebay, pins bought locally (those things are high for what they are). When I welded the shanks on I ran into a problem. The 1/2 warpped on me guessing to high on the amps. Had to do some major work to get it back...

    Other projects

The Receiever on the bucket was one of the best ideas that came from this site. I had the plate and the tube cost me 5 bucks. I have picked up my 18' trailer to the point that all 4 tires were off the ground, pretty happy with that. One idea was to make a FEL mounted boom pole. I made the first...

    My Bucket Hooks

ere are the pics of my Hooks. I welded one on each side. I had to put some 3/16 plate under them to get em to sit the way I wanted.... again don't make fun of my welding. It's all a hobby for me. And I have never had one break. These hooks have picked up a locust tree that was around 14" round X...
