After market rubber tracks what's the best name/value

I called a company in CA. Titan, and they quoted me 1200.00 per track for the Kubota 161 c pattern and dealer quoted me 1700.00 for the Global name plus 425.00 to install. I think I saw Atgreene say the CAT track was 675.00. what's the right way to go when you replace rubber on an excavator like...

KUBOTA 161 if it has rubber can you put steal on

Somebody, saleman, said he can take old rubber off and put steal on for just the cost of labor plus a little..? But another guy told me he would need to change the whole undercarriage..? If you are replacing worn out rubber can you just change to steal on 2008 161 angle blade models..?

My last question on Kubota 161 is 12 inch or 16 inch bucket!!!

When I rented the 161 I got a 16 inch bucket, what they had, I thought it was kinda nice to have the extra fill when I was building a few logging roads, but should I get the 12 inch for stumping and obviously keep the 24 on when working on the woods roads..?:)

Stunning find on Kubota 161 BUT is rubber ok..?

All: I have been shown a 600hr 161 that needs new rubber tracks, and the offering level is EXTREMELY fair. The issue is rubber vs steal. Many of you have told me that in the woods you need steal, but I'm not a commercial logger and I will be the only owner/operator. If I put 50 hours a year on...

Is the true traction the same on the Kubota 161..?

If you buy a kubota 161 with a straight blade (non-angle) you get wider tracks and deeper cleats than the 161's with angle blades. Can somebody tell me if the machines are going to have different feel in the woods. I know the float on the wider tracks needs the deeper cleats, but is the narrower...

Jmfox: I forgot to ask you how your sr-80 performed in snowy conditions. I thought the window seal wasn't that tight and thought you or somebody could shed some light on both the winter wind with slide up door design and also how did the windshield wiper perform in snow conditions. Will the...

Tires  Do we lift the tires or NOT..Maddogdriver what have you been doing

This is my last question on BH operations. There was a very heated dispute on BH operations with tires down or lifted from stabilizers and FEL..? What is the right call for TC 55 DA loaded R1's and Woods BH 90x. Also do the 3 point hitch arms need to be removed..? Are they easy to...

Backhoe  Woods bh 90 x vs a mini excavator ???

I spent time reviewing the glowing report card on the Woods bh90x with hydraulic thumb but at 11 grand should we all be looking at used mini excavators..? I saw 15k on equipment used in the 700 hour range and 20k on 350 hour pieces. I would think you could take serious stress off your tractor...

Grapple  Grapple top forks the pressure won't release

Sorry to bother all of you again with this dilema, but many of you helped me on this issue a few months ago and I have one follow up question. The rear remote lines which flow into the top forks won't release pressure after I turn tractor off. All the FEL hydraulics release but the forks stay...

What equipment would you need to change this tire

Just dreaming that some day after all the clearing is done I would change my AG R1 tires over to turfs for summer field work. BUT can one person change 14.9-24 rears on NH TC 55 DA which have been loaded. What equipment would I need, other that jack/jacks to safely move tires around. I think I...

One last question on Flails toughness

If you are mowing fairly rocky fields will the lower roller take some abuse or will if get dinged and or bent pretty quickly. Or does it float/jump over most obstacles which helps protect the hammers from a direct hit into larger rocks.

    wallenstein bx62 and sheer pins

Wondering what I'm doing wrong engaging PTO with BX62 as I keep sheering pins. NH TC 55 DA EHSS -is there a way to feather in PTO with the clutch ? I have the tractor a lowest idle/throttle, yet many times the first move of the BX62 drum seems to sheer the pin. If I clean the drum/wheel( tractor...

    hydraulic help with grapple

Sorry I first posted this dilema in attachments, but it seems better suited here in hydraulics. Here's the story. New Millonzi ld 66 grapple arrives and the front disconnects are EXTREMELY tough to connect. There was no quick. In fact no way one person could have pulled the female sleave back...

there must be a better quick detach value

This weekend I was working with Millonzi LD66 grapple and wanted to change back to the bucket. The slide backs/pull back on female valve are incredibly hard to push back to release the male connections. Going back was even worse. I gripped "quick detach" noses with two hands and father inlaw...

New Holland TC 55 DA tire issues

I would love to hear from all NH TC 55 DA owners on how they set up the rear tires. I have R1 Ag and needed to have much smaller chains than I would have liked put on, do to the space between tires and rear fenders. Should I flip the tires and worry about HEL being smaller width than rear...
