Within the past 2 weeks my shuttle shift has been more difficult to go into gear, both directions; so difficult now my left hand center knuckle is swollen and i cannot straighten the finger. Any member have a cause and solution for the shifting difficulty?

Has anyone replaced these seals? Both mine are leaking badly and must be replaced. I need a "how-to" lesson please.
