I have an S-470D 3 cyl diesel, that starting loosing power. It ran for 30 - 40 minutes and then just died. I waited a few minutes and then hit the starter. Started up, ran for about 6 ft and then died again. It started for the 3rd time and then, just barely managed to creep back to the house...
