They sure put it in an easily accessible spot. It looks like I need to remove the air filter to get it out? Is that the easiest route? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
For just the past couple of weeks I've noticed that the throttle on my BX2360 will slow and I have to pull the handle back to WOT. Is there a mechanical linkage that I can adjust in the engine compartment that will fix this? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Unfortunately, the little lady decided to surprise me and mow with my new BX2360 while I was away. She called and asked what to do after she worked it until it overheated and lost all the radiator fluid. :(
What's the best way to determine if there is any serious damage when I get back home...
I need to replace the gas tank on a Craftsman riding mower (917.272244). To do that I have to remove the red fiberglass cover from the footrests to the back -- it is one solid piece. Any hints would be appreciated.
I'd junk the darned thing since I just got a BX2360 for mowing, but the little...
I've been using Surflan for a long time for my yard and pasture, but I would like to use a solid granular agent instead of spraying Surflan. Anyone know of anything that is effective?
Thanks!
Anyone have any thoughts on battery powered circular saws? I need to do fence repairs, including cutting 7/8 inch by 5 inch wide cedar boards and it would really help if I could cut them out at the fence (too far for a cord).
I use a Craftsman cordless drill on fence repairs and it is great...
I have occasional need of a BH for my L5740, which will pay for itself the first year. I'm leaning toward three point rather than sub frame as it is pretty easy stuff and I'd like to be able to easily remove it since I bush hog a lot.
Anyone have any brand/model suggestions (preferably with a...
12 ft high, 50 feet long and made of RR ties about 25 years old. I can only work from below the wall and it seems a bit high to use a BH. Anyone ever try pulling one down using chains? It's just me and my Kubota L5740, but I can spend some $$ to save the $9000 quote that I got for someone to...
My SQ184 (7ft Bush Hog) that I bought with my L5740 was leaking gear oil from one of the lower gear box drain plugs and I didn't have an allen wrench that would fit into the tight space (neither did the repair guy).
So the dealer picked it up, repaired it and delivered it. Nowhere else do...
I have an old, but very sturdy, 11 station Imperial Valet irrigation timer that was probably put in when the house was built. The company is long out of business.
My problem is that I need a dozen of the pins that set the dates and times. Anyone have an idea where I can get these?
If I can't...
I often use old oil on my burn pile. I have a hydraulic fluid change coming up soon for my tractor -- does (Kubota UDT) HF burn anywhere near as well for that purpose? Thanks.
After three cycles of removing and attaching my 7' BushHog it still takes longer than it seems it should.
I always disconnect on level ground. Any other hints that make lining up to attach easier? TIA.
What size chain would be adequate for pulling trees, etc. with the drawbar on a Kubota L5740? Would a Campbell 5/16 inch with a 4700 lb load limit be sufficient?
I'm close to buying a tractor for pasture work (16 acres rough cutting and general maint.), and am down to something from a L4740 to L5740 with FEL with R1 ag tires. Leaning toward the L5740.
I also have 6 acres of zoysiagrass around the house and would like to use the tractor with a 3 pt...
