After searching and cross referencing,I have a Napa Hydraulic filter to replace the $28.00 Steiner 21-093 filter.Napa Gold 20 micron filter #1552 for $7.00. I have been running this filter since the last Hydraulic service.

Looks like the Utilimax is going to get another workout as soon as the snow lets up some.I think there is at least 7-8 in. right now,wont be to bad as the temp is close to freezing,just needs to let up though......

Has anyone found a replacement fuel filter for the Briggs Diahatsu diesel engine?I think a regular spin on filter will work,just wont have the threads for the water detector.I run conditioned fuel all year long anyway, so that wouldnt be a big deal anyway. I just purchased a Steiner Utilimax 428 with 321 hrs.I have mowed with it and checked it over thoroughly. I love the dump bed and the driver position.It is slightly underpowered on some of my steepest hills,but I just peddle back on the hydro.I am not sure how many of these machines are out...
