Loader  What type are the ports on a 2006 BL20A loader joystick control?

So I need to replace the joystick control for the loader on my tractor (2006 Branson 4720 with BL20A). Are there any TBN'ers out there who can tell me what type ports this loader uses? BSPP, JIC, etc? I've attached pictures of the return port and one of the cylinder spool line ports - hope...

Great customer service from Surplus Center!

Thought I would let folks know about my positive experience with Surplus Center. I ordered a small engine from them, and unfortunately it was smashed up pretty bad and destroyed in shipment. I emailed Surplus Center with pictures and my sob story, and they sent me a new one! No lengthy return...

    Welding freeze-cracked engine block

GM V8 engine block cracked down above/along bottom skirt due to water in the block last winter. Prior to welding, do I need to drill the ends of the cracks (as for stress cracks) to stop the cracks propagating? I'm concerned about the amount of heat I'd be introducing to fill full-depth holes...

Harm to charging system by using a lower-amp battery?

Is there a real risk of harm to a tractor's charging system by substituting a lower amperage battery as a replacement? Current battery is a 7 year old 1000 CCA (just about plumb wore out), and the closest I can get off-the-shelf is 800 CCA.

    Disappointed with Champion brand generator!

Bought a 3500 watt Champion brand generator about 2 years ago at Tractor Supply, mainly to run the well pump during power outages. Of course we haven't had a power outage of more than a couple of hours since then  The first one I got poured gas out of the carburetor bowl, but TS...

    Heating a stuck grease zerk

Something I've done a hundred times.... If the zerk won't take grease with a moderate amount of effort, hit it for a few seconds with the MAPP gas torch to loosen the pressure check ball and allow grease in. Worked like a charm the first 99 times  Well the other day I was trying to...

    Checking/filling injector pump oil?

Any fellow TBNers care to share information with me on how to check and fill the oil in the fuel injector on the 4720 Branson? What viscosity oil does it take? Thanks in advance.

    My worried mind.....

Just replaced the glow plugs in my Branson 4720 tractor. That cured the hard starting problem I was having. Started right up strong at 12 degrees with a dead cold engine. Thanks again Ken of Valenti's Tractor Valenti's Vintage Vehicles L.L.C dba Valenti's Tractor :) Now for the worry. Two...

    Completing other half of barn

Pictures from last November adding roof to other side of our 12x40 horse barn. Had to cut into slope and add rocks on the uphill side; which only our 4720 Branson TLB made possible - sure couldn't have done it with a shovel! Had to use the backhoe for the post holes also, due to the rocks...

Online source for Branson tractor parts

I'm having no luck going through a local dealer. Is there an online vendor for Branson tractor parts who can have them drop-shipped to the Northeast? Many thanks for your assistance.

    Old Case 1294

Looking at this locally - private sale. 2700 hrs, 4wd with loader, farmer says he has a 3pt hitch backhoe he'll add in for total of $10,000. Anything to fear from this model? They were only made for a couple of years, but the engine was used for longer.

    Ford 5610 reputation?

Greetings all; sorry my first post is begging for info, but I need your help. I'm looking at a 4WD 5610 diesel with a 777 loader (on a sub-frame), with a bit over 6400 hours on it. Dealer added new fenders and ROPS. It starts right up and there are no knocks, and the loader goes up and stays...
