I want to use a gallon of Delo 400 15w-40(new-never opened) that I know has been sitting around on a shelf for three or four years. I would think that oil, being millions of years old, wouldn't have a shelf life. Does anyone know for sure?? Thanks lstumper067

Folks, I' am tired of 6 or 7 different oils that I have to stock for 6 or 7 different engines. I am most concerned with my Kubota BX2230, I want to use Delo 15-w-40 or Rotella 15-w-40. I was told you could also use this oil in just about any other engine including Honda and Briggs. Any opinions...

I have heard that some bearings can be over greased. (sealed bearings) Does anyone know how many shots of grease should be applied to the deck bearings. The manual on my BX2230 shows the grease points but does not indicate how much grease. Can these bearings be over greased? BX2230 with 60" MMM...

Well, Kubota said it wouldn't fit but they were wrong. You know thoses cool looking grill guards that come on the Bx22 and Bx23, well I got my dealer to order me one and it fit and looks great on my BX2230........I will get a picture posted when I learn to work this site correctly. stumper

Well, I just traded my Bx1500 for the new Bx2230, the 1500 had 21 hours on it, no there wasn't anything wron with it, I just had to have the biggest in the class. The bx1500 is all the tractor a person could ask for, seemed as much power in the pulling catagory as the 2230. when mowing the 1500...
