What type of wood for the hitch on a horse drawn mower would you all recommend. I was thinking of using Birch, Maple or Oak as these are available around here. Hickory or Ash would be ideal but are hard to get up here. Any input/ recommendations.

I have a 1945 Case Sc that when driven for a while starts to have antifreeze bubbling up from under the rad cap. Is this system a non pressurized system or is the coolant boiling at atmospheric pressure because the rad cap doesn't seal up perfectly. Any other ideas on what would be causing...
