    TODAYS SEAT TIME

I spent last Saturday cleaning up brush and trees, consolidating my piles and finally burning them off. Did as much as I could until I ran out of steam (physically). Yet another reason I'm glad I got a FEL on my new tractor, it made this a whole lot easier. The savior of my back... Beer time...

    First Snake of the year

Stumbled on these 2 right by the house up in a tree... as I closed in trying to get a better shot my wife yelled at me to give them some privacy! :ashamed: Edit - While I first thought garter snakes, I'm now guessing they are rat snakes according to looking up pics on the internet. Round eyes...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

This project started with a simply getting rid of the row of crepe myrtles along the front of the house and ended up with us deciding to remove all the landscaping back to just 1 single row of shrubs. Benefits being less to maintain, creating an unobstructed view while sitting on the porch, and...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

    New Kioti Owner

Only issue was one time turning around with mower engaged at the top of the hill, which is still on a slope. I was in 2WD, ground was a bit soft, and I spun rear tire and dug a hole. Switched to 4WD and haven't had any issues. I wouldn't mow if it was too wet. I think it also helps that the CK35...

Where do you store your tractor?

One side of our small barn has just enough room to fit the tractor and my riding mower behind it. We have no animals other than our dogs so the 2 stalls end up being my smaller tool storage. I wish it was a cement floor, but it was already there when we moved in.

    New Kioti Owner

Just dropping in the forum to say hello from Middle Tennessee, since I've finally made my decision on a new tractor purchase and went with a Kioti. I'm now a proud, and very excited, new owner of a Kioti CK35 HST, which is a huge upgrade from my old Kubota L235. Many factors went into my...

Tractor Sizing Upgrading tractor - are my size and power thoughts on target?

Well I made my decision. I hadn't heard back from the LS dealer so I don't even know if he'll be getting a HST, and only tested the shuttle which I didn't like. Besides, I was just really impressed with the Kioti. It was comfortable, felt the most stable/solid of the bunch, and had a lot of nice...

Tractor Sizing  Upgrading tractor - are my size and power thoughts on target?

I currently own an older 2WD Kubota L235 which is rated 23.5hp, 19.6 on the PTO and 2000 lbs, sporting turf tires. Looking for thoughts and opinions from the knowledgable folks here on the forums before I begin shopping for a new tractor. Property is 5 acres in Middle Tennessee, some flat...
