My 445A, 4WD skip-loader is dripping from under the front, where from the Messick & New Holland diagrams show as a junction for L/R hoses to each hyd cylinder. The lines coming down from the power steering control valve(column) go through a rubber grommet. How do I access that junction? My Ford...

I assume you solved this issue? I have the same problem with my ‘83 445A. Dripping from area where the pressure lines go through the large rubber grommet. Bill

Who sells a repair kit for a 445A steering shaft, the bearing/seal under the steering wheel?

I just picked-up a used 1987 Ford 445A 4wd skiploader w/ power reversing trans. The brakes are very poor after 10-15 minutes of work. Can someone please advise me about the adjustment mechanism for the brakes and where it is located? "Walk softly and carry a big stick"-Teddy Roosevelt
