Just "picked this up". An old wood-stave silo. I will be taking it apart and moving it to my place. It will really look good next to my other 19c. buildings. It is made up of 3" X 5" tounge-and-grove clear lumber, redwood I think, placed in a circle and banded together.

I have two of them. I replaced the wheel bearings on both at NAPA. They know how to measure bearings to get exactly what you need.

Here's photo of my Tick Pickers. I never have to feed them. They get enough on our property and the fields around us. They do a pretty good job keeping the ticks down in the summer. You have to raise them on the place for them to stay around. They return to their pen in the evening.

Dane Steel Safety Corn Cutter This is one of the rarest items in my collection. The corn cutting sled was the first invention that mechanized the cutting of corn. After this came the corn binder (I have one of those also, an IHC corn binder.) The Dain tractor was the fist John Deere tractor.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the drive pulley lose? This one is either rusted, or glued on. Rigged a puller with no luck. Have heated it with a tourch, no luck. Is there a set screw I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Took this yesterday. Next door neighbor laying plastic mulch. He had it all done about a month ago, then it hailed and punched holes in his plastic. tore it all up and burnt it and is now re-laying it. Its a family affair.
