    got a problem with my 8n. seems to be fuel problem. starts fine. idles fine. won't rev up unless i close the choke halfway or more. rebuilt carb this fall. been running fine since then. checked inlet screen, removed carb & checked float setting, i use quality gas with seafoam in it. any ideas?

    getting ready to replace throttle quadrant. don't see anything in either book about that. must be self explanatory. also need to know if there's a problem w/ using multi viscosity engine oil. i'm thinking rotella 15/40.

    rebuilt the carb yesterday. turns out thats where a lot of my throttle control issues were coming from. sounds pretty good now. took my wife for ride last evening. still need to replace the throttle quadrant. it's worn pretty slick.
