Off topic but I have a similar homemade tree puller. It's a great tool. Handles 3-4" trees with a 45 hp Cat. 1 tractor. Lift and pull at the same time to double the force on the tree. I pull out the trees and carry them straight to the pile.

Mfr. specs say you can pull it with a 25 hp tractor. I don't believe it. That's a big plow foot with a 1.25" blunt face on the shank. I think it's definitely a category 2 implement. You won't be able to run it deep.
