MF 2135 Z134 Rebuild oil pump

I've decided to rebuild the oil pump on my Massey 2135 with a Z134 Continental gas. I have the AGCO books, but they have no details for this, other than a parts diagram. My oil pressure is lower than I want, about 10-15 psi. So I bought the z134 oil pump rebuild kit (note that some kits don't...

    Continental Z134 starting problem

Today, cleared more snow from the driveway, we got 8" near DC. During this, the loader started feeling spongey. I looked around, and saw the right hand loader frame arm had broke loose in its connection to the rear axle. It's the weld (from previous user), and the wear and tear sheared the...

    Continental Z134 starting problem

Finally, I moved snow in the big storm of February. It took awhile to clear the driveway, the slush under the 14" made traction difficult, even with the chains on the Ag tires.

    Continental Z134 starting problem

Then, I added LED lights and new blinkers. I added some regular switches to control the lights. And I added a marine grade USB port for charging cell phone.

    Continental Z134 starting problem

I also fixed the 3 point adjustment lever/gear. Needed some elbow grease and new grease. I suspect the old grease had dried out, and made it too stiff.

    Continental Z134 starting problem

I did get 3 hoses made by Baum Hydraulics in Nebraska. With shipping, just over $20 each. I just had to figure out the precise end types. I messed up on one, but got a couple fittings at Tractor Supply to make the connection. So, now the loader lift cylinder has a new hose, with about 5"...

Snow  What's in your Massey Feguson Toolbox?

I recently got a Massey 2135 Industrial, it came with the old toolbox attached to the ROPs Inside, there were a few rusty tools: a torch igniter, a utility knife, and a clevis pin, all under an old birds nest. I am thinking about putting in some worthwhile tools, so I was wondering, what does...

    Continental Z134 starting problem

Looking at a gas MF2135 (Continental Z134) that was sitting for a couple years, that a friend has. After putting a gallon in the tank, and replacing the battery, it cranked up, but only runs with the choke. It stops if you push the choke in. Any thoughts on what it might be, what to look for...

    Massey Ferguson 2135 Loader Mount

I'm looking at getting a MF2135, and took a look at how they attached the MF200 loader. They welded it to the bottom rear plates that straddle the axle. These plates are thick, and are also used to support the Ford roll bar (blue) See rear pic. I also have side pics, to show how the frame...

    Need some LS specs

I am still in the window shopping and comparison mode, and have been looking at LS from a distance (nearest LS dealer is in Mineral VA with no website) I have a small piece of property, less than 5 acres, so I am looking at the CUTs 28-42 hp with FEL, and prefer Hydrostatic. I would be movin...
