When I put new carb on s82, I went to connect throttle linkage from the carb to the linkage block mounted on the engine and I can not figure out where to hook the spring that is coiled around the linkage arm to on the engine sige side . On the the carb it is obvious where it gets connected but...

It is like there is no battery. I have jumper cables on it I turn the key and nothing. Does anyone know if the seat switch wires need to be tied together for it to run or left apart. I just put a new carb on it, and new filter. Is there a fuse in it somewhere. Thanks for the help......
