B2710-I found mu hydraulic leak- Sheesh!

I have had my used B2710 for a few months now, and the only thing that I haven't liked was a small hydraulic drip coming from the HST case. Initially I thought I had just over filled the resevoir, and there was some overflow dribbling out somewhere. But it persisted, and so I stated to look...

    B2710 tachometer stopped working

RPMS are stuck at 0 Does anyone have a schematic or some tips that can help me trace the tachometer wiring? What sort of sender does it use? I assume it is electrical. All the rest of the electrics are working OK, so I doubt it is a fuse. Thanks, Al

Keep your batteries alive over winter

Here is a simple electronics project that I use to keep my various batteries from getting sulfated over the course of a winter. Works better than a trickle charger alone. Many people have been successful with it. Note: this is not a commercial link, and I make no $$ from it. Just a homebrewer...

When I first got my B2710 from the shipper, it would start up with no reluctance. There was fuel in the tank from So. Cal, where it was purchased. Now that I have put some local fuel in the tank and changed the oil/filter, it is reluctant to start, ie it starts then dies a couple of times, the...

    3 Point Hitch Control Lever

On my B2710, the 3PH control lever only has an effect in the top half of its range; ie, from 0-4, no effect, from 4-8 the hitch goes from all the way down to all the way up. Is this normal? Otherwise, the system seems to work fine. I bought the tractor used, and so don't know if this is...

    Variable feed rate for chipper

I have been working with my new Bailey's/GME 6" PTO chipper, and thought a slight modifiction would be helpful. The feed rate for the hydraulic brush dragger is OK for the softer or small stuff, but it needs to feed a bit slower on the bigger hardwoods that we have. I wonder what is the best way...
