    PTO Shaft Cover Replacement

See if there is a driveline shop nearby. They will probably be able to help, unless your shaft is areal oddball.

    Washout-proofing a ditch

Many years ago the local highway department where I lived in NY tried to fix the ditch across the road from my house. They first tried putting rip-rap in, except they used round stone! I just shook my head. (This is on a fairly steep hill, so plenty of water velocity). Couple days later it...

3901 HST RPM for engaging PTO vs RPM for operation

I always engage my PTO at a dead idle, then bring the throttle up to PTO speed. YMMV

    Add-a-grapple source

It's on a Kubota B2320. I don't have much time using it yet, but it does seem to do what I need so far. More time will let me get a better feel, and adapt my technique to get the most from it, I'm sure. Quality seems good.

    Add-a-grapple source

I got mine from Agfolks.com. It was shipped direct from Precision. I went with the Mini, since it was the lightest and sized for my bucket.

    Homestead Implements Grapple

I have the Mini Add-A-Grapple. I haven't had a lot of time using it yet, but it works ok. I moved some logs today and some limbs. I think having the bucket makes it harder to get a "full" load of limbs, as they are odd shapes and don't fall in line with the bucket well, but it will grab anything...

No reason you can't build your own adapter.

    Looking at quick hitches

If you expect to be using Cat 1 implements, you should plan on a Cat 1 QH. However, you have to be sure that it will attach to the tractor 3 PH. I've heard of some folks having a problem with the lift arm balls not fitting into the QH.

    Ford 768 Loader cylinders

Hi all- I have a friend that has a Ford 768 loader mounted on a JD 650 tractor. It's not pretty but it works, or did. The lift cylinders are leaking rather badly, and the rods appeared to be pitted. I told him I would try to find out where to either get new (to him) cylinders or if it is...

Build it yourself towable backhoe opinions

I found my pictures. I scanned a couple of the parts as UPS delivered them, then the completed digger, before its first use, and a couple of the ditch and drain line that were the first 2 projects for it. Hopefully they load properly. First is the parts pictures. UPS guy had to love that...

    Not your typical toothbar question

I've been researching toothbars for my B2320 w/LA304 loader, and the other day I was thinking about the process of removing/reinstalling the loader for mowing, etc. It occurred to me that the toothbar MIGHT have an affect on that process by changing heights or angles. No one has ever mentioned it...

    Hi from Goldendale

Just wanted to say Hi, new to this forum. Moved out here to Goldendale WA last fall from upstate NY. First thing I bought after the house was a Kubota B2320, with a B2987 snowblower. Yesterday I posted a reply to a question in a forum, and today it says I need 50 posts before I can view that...
