I normally reference a manual when going through such components, but not in this case thus far. Does anyone know if the bolts need lockwashers or locktite blue maybe?... or were they just not torqued properly probably?

Mystery solved. See my post above with tag. Cav 3233f661. Now I just need to source an upper linkage plate assembly and two of those spline adapter bolts and I can reassemble and bench test. Thank you.

The throttle plate was smacked by the loose bolt banging around, and bent it at the bottom corner hinge point, and knocked that small throttle plate spring stud off/out from underneath the plate. It left that plate a bit twisted and dented and bulged at the hinge, which...

Thank you. I found that 3/8 long pin while pump was still mounted on tractor when I removed the pump side cover. Fished pin and the bolt out with a screwdriver and then decided to pull pump and go through it (of course.)

The pin of interest that I'm trying to identify..

Ford 2600 CAV injection pump no injector port flow/pressure. Tore it down. Had a spline coupler bolt come loose and bang it up a bit internally, but appears serviceable. Question: What is the smaller pin? It is next to a 3/8 combination wrench?
