    Seat Cover Replacement

My Kubota B2620, which is only 5 years old, has wear rips in the seat. It only has 500 hours on it and has been garage kept most of it's life. I had a Kubota BX1800 for 1200 hours that had a seat in perfect condition when I traded it in. Anyway my grumbling is done but now I'm trying to...

How / Who / What can bend this 3/8 inch plate steel bracket back to shape?

Here are photos of a bent bracket that attaches the hydraulic augur to the dipper on my excavator. The o-ring that held the pin in through the bracket broke and one side of the bracket is bent. I've tried putting the one side of the bracket against an immovable object (a rock) and beat the...

Posthole Digger Hydraulic or pto post hole auger?

There is no doubt that a hydraulic auger is best. You can reverse the drive to get out of a hole and apply down pressure that you can't always do with a 3PTH. As part of my business I auger with a Kubota KX41 (photo below). It is a small excavator and find the height I can lift the auger and...

    Subsoiling with a manure fork

I'm an avid gardener and over the years have spent a ton of money to solve problems associated with my hobby. Most of the solutions happily involved getting new machinery and equipment. Most recently I decided it was way to hard getting straw based horse manure (of which I happily have several...

    Chinese products - experiences

A few years ago I bought a shovel made in china. Looked good to me. Had a nice chrome finish. First time I stuck it in the ground the handle broke. My next experience was when I bought one of those garden windmills also made in china. My wife and I assembled it. That was some form of...

    Dogs and Tractors

I guess dogs must come under the attachments forum heading. At least mine should. If Dot or Ruby think I'm doing something with the tractor they race me to it and become attachments. When I'm not working with it they're loafing on it. Anyone else have photos of their dogs with their tractor?

    10 inch width plow

I just bought a 2 furrow Ferguson Dearborn plow Type 10 - AO - 28. The 10 means it is ten inches between the plow shares so the furrows are 10 inches wide. what I don't understand is how deep this plow should dig and what are the specific qualities or use of a 10 inch wide furrow. Most are 12...

B2620 won't start... Need some advice

Today I started my B2620 and moved it to a work area. When I went to restart it I only got the click sound but no spinning starter motor. Checked the usual problems (battery, engaged pto lever) but no. Lights work and all fuses are good. I called up my dealer and he and his mechanic advised...

    Fred Cain subsoiler

Because of an unusually wet spring here in Ontario Canada, getting on my gardening was delayed more than a month. In addition to a wet spring my land is heavy clay with a compacted hard pan that can be like concrete that won't let the soil drain. I've resisted getting a sub subsoiler for some...

Tires  Tire and Rim source for B2620

I have turf tires on my B2620. Most of the time they are perfect for my uses. The only time I wish the tires were agriculture tires is when I'm using ground engagement equipment (eg plow etc.) I am considering getting a full set of tires and rims that I can put on my B2620 when I need them...

On a B2620 when you pull the 3PH lever to the top (fast lift position) should it stay there or drop back to the centre position when fully lifted? What trailer to haul 2 machines on?

I'd like to haul both my Mini Excavator (2 ton) and CUTractor on one flat bed. The tractor weighs about 2500 pound or less so a 5 ton trailer should do it. Weight isn't the concern. It's balance and trailer wheel placement I am not sure about. I'd like to be able to use the trailer to haul one...
