    Picking up Fibreglass water tank

Appreciate ideas on how to best pick up a water tank. I am getting a tractor with FEL and pallet forks and want to move a tank that is 3 m (18') in diameter. I have heard you can get pallet fork extensions but not sure if they are necessary given the limited use I would have for them.

Rear Blade  Anybody have a Land Pride RBT55 Grader Blade

Interested in hearing if anybody has a Land Pride RBT55 grader blade and what size tractor are you pulling it with. I am looking at buying 100 HP 4wd Deutz and think it should handle this blade fine, but am not sure.

    4-in-1  Bucket attachments for FEL

I am buying a tractor (90-100 hp probably Deutz Agrofarm 420DT) with FEL and I would like some advice on the best attachments that I can get for my money. Does anyone has any comments on the quality of tractors such as the TD90D which I think might be made (Tractor.com showed the TD95D was made in Turkey so I am assuming the TD90D is as well) in Turkey? I realise that tractors are made in countries all round the world eg. John Deere in India, but...

    Fuel Consumption

Can anybody suggest a website where you can get information to compare fuel consumption of different tractors. The tractors I am looking at in the 90 HP category (Daedong DK90C, McCormick CX90, MF 4255) use 4.4 litre Perkins engines so I guess fuel consumption would mainly be determined by...

    Multi purpose tractor

I would appreciate some advice on what tractor to buy. I want a tractor to do all the normal jobs on a farm: dig post holes, lay poly pipe, rip a line for planting trees, cultivate to grow a crop, direct seed native grass into existing pasture. I would also like a cabin as it can get pretty...

We have bought a property in southern NSW that is undulating, has lots of natural bush and a 5 km road to maintain. Looking forward to moving there and doing lots of different projects: fencing, building, road maintenance, little bit of cultivation and want a tractor with enough power to pull a...
