The play in the steering of my 1500D is exactly half a turn of the steering wheel. I assume that's waaayyyyyyy too much. Trying to go straight on a road (which I did for the first time a day or two ago) involves tons of steering. Could others tell me how much play you have or find acceptable...
Greenhorn question: I have both diesel and kerosene at home - the latter for a heater. There is one tank where I'm not sure what's in it, diesel or kerosene. How disastrous would it be if I accidentally put kerosene in the Yanmar? Thanks.

Hi. The other day I started up my YM1500D after it sat in the rain for a day. It started up fine but blew an oil water mix out of the exhaust, just for five seconds or so. The stuff ended up on the concrete pad, so I could see it was both water and oil. Anything to worry about? Thanks much.
