I have recently lost a great brother in law who had just purchased a new JD Tractor. I have 2 questions. One, what would be best way to get tractor from Oregon to Texas? Two, it has been sitting for a year now, what needs to be done before using it again? Thanks, George.

Got a question ! The flange on starter broke off because nut loosened up and it contacted flywheel. I heard some grinding and shut it down but worried about the broken pieces that fell next to flywheel. Is there an easy way to get those pieces out. Maybe a inspection or timing hole somewhere...
