    Front wheel bearings failed L5740

I've had bearing failure 2 times over the last 15 years. No issues in the last several years. However, I haven't used the loader nearly as hard as I did in the first 10 years. It does seem like this could be designed better.

    Notes for RTV1100 owners

Hello Gents Some of you may remember the post I made with all the issues outlining the Mattracks set-up with our RTV. One of them was that the machine seemed to have some transmission issues. The machine just simply didn't seem right and as it turns out it most certainly was not working...

    Snow Pusher

Hello Gents Anyone out there use one of those snow pushers that you see on skid steers and at the airports on their tractors? I see one on Curtis cabs web site but not sure how well it would work on a tractor. Seems like you would need a lot more weight for traction than what a tractor has...

    1100 RTV/Mattracks BEWARE!

Guys Just a notice. We recently bought a RTV 1100 for our snowmobile club and we are having issues with the driver side rear track rotating up and hitting the mattracks guard, stalling the track then getting stuck. Second issue was that the rear leafs were getting severe spring wrap which...

    L4330 FEL breakout questions

Hello All I am mostly very satisfied with my newly aquired 4330 but have a few questions regarding the FEL capability of this tractor. 1) I am assuming that "breakout" is the limit in force before the hydrulic will simply not lift. I.E. you have the handle all the way open to lift but...

    Question for JD guys

Hello Gents I have to say that the seats on the new 20 series cab models are like floating on a cloud. That suspension is SMOOTH and has a ton of travel!!! I am thinking of getting one for my Kubota because quite frankly that suspension seat is nothing compared to the JD seat...I know.....I...

    Changing Hydro fluid question

Hello Guys Going to change out the Hydro fluid from UDT to Amsoil ATH synthetic. Is it just as easy as draining the old, changing the filters and dumping in the new as the manual suggests, or is there anything more that I should know. Thanks. Tom

    Grand L 3pt smoothness

Hello All Just a small deal here but I thought I'd ask. My L4330 takes about an inch of 3pt lever movement before a reaction occurs at the lift. My fathers JD 790 is super smooth and reacts to very small inputs on the lever. I am using Kubota UDT right now but will switch to Amsoil ATH soon...
