No regret on the cab. Worked hard this summer putting in a pool and a lot of drainage/water line. On and off the machine quite a bit. That does get annoying. However, if not for the break from the heat in the A/C I wouldn't have been as productive. There is no doubt those breaks were...
That RAM pic is interesting. I think, like most things, a combination of issues. I'd bet that load is somewhere around 5 yards/15000 lbs if a 16' trailer. I doubt that loader bucket would have that much volume. I don't see where the loader would have pressed down. But maybe even worse, if...
3046R with cab here. My cab is pretty tight. Unsure what's behind it all (levers etc), but try to close the entrance door with the other or back window open and completely different feel (slams). There is enough on the sealing that it for sure gives "over pressure" when closing the door...
RE: Steel. I'm in manufacturing as well (ironically, steel mill consumables). Airfreight coil. You'd think, "..oh heck no". It's happening b/c in areas it is simply unavailable. I cannot put my finger on what's happening. Demand cannot be that high. Mills are running as fast as they can...
Yep. Same thing here. Deere has the alarm on their bigger machines. Try to move with the break set and get audible warning. Not sure why they did not include on smaller. Seems like it would have been a no-brainer and $5 worth of electronics.
Nearly all the drainage from the lot goes from west to east (naturally) and basically between the properties I've made a path for the water to drain to the ditch. Works great. Like a darn river. I can make one on the north and the west and I'll have a moat during rainy season.
So, we pump a crazy amount of water out of the sump in our basement. Calculations during normal times figure to be around 25k gallons per day. I've ran the math on that several times. HP/flow vs head vs run time. Regardless of the numerical amount, it is a bunch.
When I bought the place, the...
Members, I've been searching high and low for an absolute answer to this. I'm getting ready to order a new F350 SRW. Personally, I do not care for the look of the cab clearance lights. My intention was to not order them. However, after reading all kinds of posts, from all kinds of sources I...
Going down the interstate as fast as he could I think. Doing about 50.
Cracked windshield as well. The exit for the nearest junkyard was just passed up. I think cops just don't want to deal with guys like this. It's hard for me to believe that he has not been spotted.
Finally, a minute or two to do some actual "fun" work to the tractor. Yesterday I installed a digital media receiver/mechless stereo in the Deere.
- 3046R Cab/tractor manufactured October 14
- Pioneer MVHX560T unit
- Installed without removing the cab top.
- Had to buy adapter to plug...
Hate posting bad news like this, but if it makes someone think before being unsafe, it's worth it.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure Mother Nature has an issue with me. It's been way to wet and muddy to play. I got a bit of seat time on Friday afternoon and night before the latest downpours to check function of all units (except front hitch and blower). I took the loader off and put it on...
Guys. What would you do? I'm sitting on the fence. I need to pour footings for bathroom addition and lip of garage. Total is ~1.5 cu yards. Also, I need to lay the block and mix that mortar 15-20 bags depending. In the next couple years I'll be adding an outbuilding with block foundation...
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted a CUT, even before the phrase "CUT"was created. I grew up in the '70's and remember the Case/Ingersoll tractors in their prime. I also mowed with a Cub Low Boy on several occasions back then. I remember when the Deere 430 was released and how...
I will be needing more storage in the near future. At first I was leaning toward a pole barn, but with the discussion and what I've learned reading on this outstanding board, I will be building a stick framed building instead. Size will be about 24ft x 32ft initially.
Short term, the building...
I don't have all the details but this was a collision between a simi and the tractor. The simi T-boned the tractor. I heard about it on social media and never saw a report in the news. This was near Newman, Illinois in fall 2013. I think the operator was injured but recovered, same with the...
Does anyone know the manufacturer and/or value on this? I've seen a lot of attachments, but none this color. Claims to have low hours and comes with 12" auger for a "low" price. They are asking $250.
No exeriance with the Vuezone. However, A couple of years ago I went through this same process. After doing tons of research I found that standard "tv" type cameras that sent the image over coaxial cable were not for me. The resolution was not nearly high enough. The cameras bosted that they...
The Deere 3033R, 3046R and 3039R tractors now listed on Deere.com. I have not had time to pour over the specs yet.
Several pictures under the Features/Key Features tab. All specs are not in yet. As assumed, same engine class. I think the hood design has changed (other than cosmetic of course).
