Here's one more observation; if the ROPS were in front of you, you would be less likely to forget it's there. It would also push a branch away from you rather than whack you in the back of the head. I don't like surprises, another reason I keep it down.

It's important also that you DON'T wear your seatbelt with rops down.

In Delaware....dirt lane needed some cover after suffering months of rain and mud holes, unable to get clamshells. So, next best thing was 24T of #57 stone from the local aggregates seller.

Not good that those items aren't covered. I tend to keep mine in 2WD most of the time unless there is mud to contend with, or extra traction required.

Sounds like somebody is running into hard objects, because I had to bend back a tierod on my Ingersol garden tractor once after wife ran into a fence post (although she would not admit it)

yeah, I have the same situation....on a 4025....it flexes so don't think 3D printing would work. I just used duct tape. If you were to replace, it looks as though it will be a pain to disassemble and reassemble. Simon

don't think a differential is hydraulic- Also this is one good thing about a manual trans vs hyd- it might bump a little going into gear, but gear drive! Only thing that is hydraulic are the 3pt arms and FEL

If it grinds some, then goes into gear it's probably normal. Mine will do that especially when first started and not warmed up. After that, it will slip into another gear without grinding if you let the tractor stop before shifting into another gear. After warming up, it will still grind a...

Pet Peeve of mine (here in Delaware) is the crap they spray/spread on the roads at the mere possibility of one flake of snow, and the corrosion that causes under vehicles...if you don't like driving in snow, DON'T DRIVE IN SNOW! No need for that junk.

Sorry, but that looks like a lot of trouble- I just use my FEL, and it takes about 5 minutes....but the truth is we have not had any snow this year in Delaware! Simon

Could it be bolted crooked to the Tractor Frame? You should get it back to where you bought it from, or maybe they would come out and look at it....

By "lift plates" you mean the quick attachment plates? And, was the FEL attached when you bought it? -Simon

I will add myself to this list, as my 4025 also has a right brake sticking problem. The left is normal. There must be a common cause here, would be nice to know what it is. Mine grabs and almost locks up, so what I do is ride that side lightly until it apparently heats up and stops grabbing...

Well, if you run with the ROPS down (as I do), don't use the seat belt.

Now that you've fixed it, this would be a good time to trade up for a heavier tractor. You deserve it after all you've been through, plus if it broke once, it might again! Just say'n.

looks good, but if that doesn't work out for one reason or another, I THINK it would be ok to temporarily plug the banjo fitting, because it's just a lubrication line for the upper part of the 3-point hitch, and you wont be using that to just move the tractor from one place to another- so GL Simon

How about just plug the leak, put hydraulic fluid in it, and driving it home? Not going to hurt the rock arms.

That line goes up under the seat and lubricates the 'rock arms' in 3 places, which is the 3Point hitch in the back. I had to replace mine because it was leaking. So, you may have to remove the seat.

on a 4025 it's on top of the transmission, just look down while sitting on your seat. remove it with a wrench, and there is a dipstick attached to the plug you just removed. You don't screw it back in to get a reading. Mine is a manual transmission. -Simon

Yup. I've had to clean the battery terminals twice during the 12 yrs I've owned mine. It's still the original battery (knocking on wood)

I believe (and could be wrong) that you can overload and break things on a CUT, because it's not "industrial" or "AG" quality. That being said, I appreciate Da Bear for being straight forward.

You need to clean the battery terminal posts and clamps first thing. Then, see if it takes a charge..... -Simon
