Yes, both appeared OK but will check again after we get it back on lift

Belt was on pulley and checked the safety switch under seat, it was securely connected

Yes, while it was on lift we were able to move belt and blades. Also when pushing down on pedal noticed the tension was much less than normal.

Yesterday my wife was cutting grass with our L140 and didn't see a small twig. After she ran over it and intended to continue, it would not move. She disengaged blades, shut off engine and saw that part of the twig was around one of the pulleys. After removing it and restarting tractor it...

Sorry guys, should have updated way before now. Anyway the shop told me the blades were hitting the deck hanger. Apparently when they had the tractor previously and dropped the deck to replace the belts, they didn't reattach it properly. Or so I'm guessing, they didn't say that but didn't charge...

Well, put it on lift, got flashlight, got under and looked over all of underside, rotated blades, no sign of contact anywhere. Blades tight on spindles, facing in right direction, rotated them fully, all nominal. Nothing loose. Something about the tractor when it's on incline causing noise &...
