The 7140 is an excellent machine. We farm 1000 acres and our biggest tractor is a 7250 case. It'll pull our 21 foot john deere 235 disc like it's not there. It'll pull a 6 row strip till planter no problem as well. I highly recommend those tractors. During cotton season my helper parked the 7250...
This is a combination of my machines on my main farm and the machines my grandparents use on our hobby farm.
This is my main operation along with some of my collection
The 5055d, 383, 1070 and 540 combine are my hobby operation
I agree with you TomSeller, but I don't use that set up for anything but decent sized limbs. If I've got something big I chain it to my 4850. I've got 20 weights across the front of the 4850.
This is the whole fleet
The case cpx620
The Massey 135
The case patriot 3185
The john deere m
The john deere 60
The john deere 4850
The john deere 2630
The case magnum 7250
The ford 3000
The john deere 520
The john deere 5083

I mowed a yard with the neighbors RFM then I ran to the church to put a final grade on some dirt for our new parking area.
They forgot to tell me about the giant mud hole in the corner...
I used a land pride mower today behind my old 135. In my opinion the land pride did a better job than the bush hog mower I used. And I really like it more than the bush hog and I'm gonna go with the land pride.
Thanks for all the inputs everybody
Be been shopping for a finish mower lately and I can't decide between the bush hog RDTH 72 or the land pride FDR2572. I've never bought a finish mower and would like some opinions. Thanks
When I purchased my beloved 135 it came with a pile of implements, 1 of which is an old 6 foot box blade with roll over teeth. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the brand and how much it's worth. Thanks
How wide is it? It takes a lotta tractor to pull a chisel plow. No used my grandpa's behind his 85 horse and it struggled a little to pull it
But it looks a little wider than yours
I'll have her home either tomorrow or Sunday, depending on the rain. Along with the tractor i got 7 different implements that are all in great shape. Granddaddy tore down and repainted all his implements every 2 years so there all in great shape.
I'm wanting to replace my 553 loader with an h240 or an h260. The only problem is I can't find any specs on the h240 loader. If anyone knows anything about the h240 loader please tell me. Thanks
Some people just aren't that bright. The two 6r tractors I ran were someone else's. I said he should ballast it but he didn't care. That person swaps out tractors every year so he doesn't care about that stuff, he doesn't even know what he's got. I've got the 553 loader on my 5083. Since it's...
I think decent deal, But that loader will be a giant on that tractor. You'll need a lotta counter weight. Here's a 5075m down the road where we get chicken litter
It has the 260 and when it's gotta full bucket the rear is off the ground. But it does have the high volume bucket
Recently I've been shopping for a nice used tractor. I was going through some pictures and I found a picture of my great grandpas 1972 Massey ferguson 135. When he died my uncle inherited it and he wants to sell it for 5000 dollars. The tractor is all original with about 2500 hours. It was...
It cost around 600 dollars to buy and get installed. It's just bolted on in a couple spots but they had to move the seat belt so it wouldn't be in the way of the 4wd lever
I got an all original 1992 john deere 318 with 483 original hours and a 50 inch deck. The owner never washed it, he would spray cleaner on it and blow the dust off. It's got the original seat with now cracks in it.
I spent 3000 dollars on it and I was wondering if it was a good deal.
We've had a couple 2240's, a couple 2355's, a 2020 and a 2630. They've all been great machines. We bought the 2630 new in 1972 along with a 10 foot disc and a 4 bottom plow. It's had the motor rebuilt but other than that she's been great. Looks can be deceiving
