    New Equipment

This New Equipment was built by myself in the spirit of the John Deere image. I have been a happy owner of a 2305 since 2005. So the theme should be obvious... We live in Wisconsin and with the many friends and family that we know with kids, I made this project with the kids in mind. Many...

    Fimco 60 Gallon Sprayer Dolly

Have some casters and a blue pallet rack from a Walmart auction that I went to and needed a way to push the sprayer around when I'm not using it. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/redthruxton/DSC_4358.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/redthruxton/DSC_4357.jpg...

    Fimco Spayer Gauge

The 60 gallon sprayer comes with the 400 psi gauge. I thought this was overkill so I bought a 60 psi gauge and put it on. Well it didnt work so well, it wouldnt stay at anyone pressure. So I put the original one back on and it worked fine. Anyone have this problem? Thanks Fitz

    6o Gallon Fimco on 2305

Was able to get the Fimco put together and also attached a spraygun gun today. Waiting for the bushing kit to cone in at the dealership so I can derect mount with the I-match. The spraygun works like a champ, will spray out about 20' and has a 25' hose. Cannot wait for the rain to quit. Here...

    JD Backhoe or Woods?

Am looking to trade in the 2305 for a 2520, was wondering if the JD backhoe is better than the Woods? Is the backhoe hookup a pain on the 2520? Has anyone used the backhoe on the 2520 yet, and what do you think of it? Thanks Fitz

    2520

Anyone that has a 2520 or the previous version of the 2520 can you help? Is it a problem having the final drives the way they are? On my 2305 the rear axle is straight, is the weight of a backhoe going to be a problem on the 2520? And is the engine/trans being a stressed member of the frame a...

    Trading the 2305?

Was looking at the 2520 and was wondering if anyone else was considering the same idea? I enjoy the payment that I have on the 2305, makes it easy to justify the expence, but would the 2520 be a good upgrade? Thanks Fitz

    Drove to Kwik Trip.

Did'nt have a yellow gas can today, did'nt realize the amount of work my father-in-law volunteered me for at our church. So needless to say I took the 2305 down the block with my hazzards on and got fuel. Had a few people ask me how I liked it, so there is another 20 minutes and a sale for...

    Average Age of 2305 Owners?

Will turn 40 this year, not really that exciting. We bought a GX345 the begining of last summer for the in-laws yard, then a few months after that we bought 6 acres from them. Such is the need for the 2305. Fitz

    17 minute change...

Had to use the FEL yesterday before I mowed 3 acres and was currious about the switch time to go from FEL and Ballast box, to 62" MMM. About 17 minutes and I can probably do better, but I was thinking about it too much. Fitz

    Didn't drive 2305 today.

Didn\'t drive 2305 today. But I got out the Triumph with the side car and rode 40 miles to the state capital. About 60 other bikes there, and a few of them were Triumphs. The weather today is overcast and 36 degrees with a chance of rain or snow. Any other nut case out on the bike today? Fitz

    John Deere Dealership Satifaction

Was wondering how happy people are with their JD dealership? CB&C in Cuba City is very good, Lou and Larry are really good guys to work with. Regardless of the back order stuff I still think the JD customer service is good. Fitz

    Work Lights

Ordered work lights (front&rear) for the 2305 about 6 weeks ago and still waiting...back ordered I guess? Not that I have time to go down there now, but my FIL might want to use it. Other than that things are going well. Fitz

    2305 with posthole digger?

Anyone put a posthole digger on the 2305 yet, I see the info with the Backhoe and its seems to be coming along well. I don't think I'll be digging, but the 6.23 might need a new fence in some areas, thanks. Fitz

    2305 in cold weather.

Went to the farm today to do some work. Didn't call ahead to have the 2305 plugged in, but it started after the third try. Let it run while I put on the i-match and reconnected the 6' blade. It must have been a good 10 minutes, and that put me over the 17 hr mark. Anyway, once I got on, it...

    New 2305 Owner.

I got my 2305 on the 30th of October and would like to say I am very happy with it. Was able to use the 62mmm for 2 weeks and the FEL quite a bit. Nancy and I bought 6.23 acres on her parents 240 acre farm. We purchased a 345X earlier in the year for the farm yard but since then things have...
